There is something about a black tie wedding at a classically styled wedding venue that oozes sophistication and elegance. That’s not to say though that it has to be formal too. Sarah and Keiran’s wedding day at Beamish Hall in County Durham was just that. Elegant, chic, and also wonderfully fun to photograph.

Sarah and Will certainly didn’t have it easy planning their 2020 wedding, but enduring setback after setback, and refusing to let Covid get too much in their way, they somehow managed it. There was no other setting more perfect for Sarah and Will than Auckland Castle - her father is the current Bishop of Durham, and Auckland Castle is the Bishop’s official residence, and no one more perfect to perform the ceremony than Will’s father who is an Army Chaplain. Their ceremony in the Chapel of St Peter was beautiful, filled with sentiment, funny stories from Sarah and Will’s childhood, and so much love for the two of them. It was wonderful to witness. They along with their families could not have made us feel more welcome. The atmosphere throughout our time with them was amazing and is something that we won’t ever forget.
Of course, it’s been a little while since their wedding - with a very busy 2021 leaving us little to no time for blogging, but even so, I very much wanted to share their special day with you, along with their words below.

Our last wedding of 2019 was that of Rachel and Dean at Healey Barn in Northumberland. Healey Barn with its cosy interior and candle lit ceremonies could not have been more perfect for their winter wedding. Rachel enjoyed a relaxing morning with her girls at the Lord Crewe Arms while the lads got ready at Healey Hall, before joining their wedding guests for their ceremony at Healey Barn. It was a gorgeous day with a chilled vibe and was a real delight to attend.
Today is a day of preparation and planning - Amy and Jon's big day at Wynyard Hall is tomorrow, the cameras are ready, and the weather is looking not too dismal. As I think of their day, my mind goes back a few weeks to another wedding celebration, the day Trevor married his bride Mojdeh. Their elegant wedding took place also at Wynyard Hall. It was a wedding filled with tradition, two cultures blended together within the one day. Married in Wynyard Hall's Brooks chapel, the pair went on to celebrate their day with family and friends, concluding in the conservatory with a traditional Iranian knife dance.
So as I go back to thinking ahead to tomorrow, I leave you with Trevor and Mojdeh and their wedding day at Wynyard Hall...
