Kerrie and Nick’s winter wedding at the Parlour at Blagdon was an intimate, heartwarming celebration that perfectly suited the rustic charm of this cozy venue, just a short drive from Newcastle. Kerrie got ready in the picturesque cottage with her bridesmaids, looking every bit the vision of elegance in her A-line gown. The emotion was palpable when her dad saw her for the first time, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Nick was equally moved as he watched Kerrie walk down the aisle to join him for their ceremony in the charming Old Smithy.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks in the courtyard, where a magician entertained them with his impressive tricks, adding a fun and unique touch to the drinks reception. The celebration then moved to the Willow Room for heartfelt speeches and a delicious meal, followed by an evening full of dancing and live music. Despite the intermittent rain and chilly winter weather, the atmosphere all day was warm and inviting. Kerrie and Nick were such a joy to work with—genuine, kind, and full of warmth, making their wedding day a true pleasure to capture.

South Causey Inn wedding photographer - Jennie and Jordan

Jennie and Jordan’s wedding at the South Causey Inn’s Old Barn in County Durham was a beautiful autumn celebration full of elegance and style. Jennie looked absolutely stunning in her bias-cut wedding gown, paired with a handmade dried flower bouquet that perfectly complemented the season. Jordan was equally stylish in his light and dark split 3-piece suit, giving him a sharp and contemporary look. A wedding at Runa Farm - Jane and Cem

Jane and Cem’s wedding at Runa Farm was a wonderful blend of rustic charm and boho vibes, perfectly suited to this beautifully renovated venue near Barnard Castle. Having previously visited when it was the Jersey Farm Hotel, it was impressive to see how the Apartment Group transformed it into one of Durham’s most sought-after wedding locations. Despite the rain that fell for most of the day, the variety of fantastic undercover spots meant we could capture stunning photos without a hitch. Their ceremony took place in the atmospheric chapel, adding a touch of magic to the occasion. Since they had legally tied the knot the day before, Cem’s brother was able to perform a heartfelt, personalized ceremony, making the day even more special. Their dog, Link, stole the show as the perfect ring bearer, adding a fun and personal touch.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks from a pineapple and contributed to a unique LEGO Minifigure guest book. Jane and Cem embraced the relaxed, boho vibe, making time for a few beautiful photos around the venue before heading back inside for heartfelt speeches and a delicious meal. The evening was filled with dancing, accompanied by a lively saxophonist, creating a fantastic party atmosphere. We wrapped up the day with a quick, romantic shot of the newlyweds in the rain, capturing a perfect ending to a truly memorable celebration. Jane and Cem were a joy to work with, and their day was as warm and vibrant as they are.

Newton Hall wedding photographer - Rhiannon and Daniel

Rhiannon and Daniel’s wedding at Newton Hall in Northumberland was a beautiful and memorable day. Nestled in a picturesque countryside setting near the Northumberland coast, the venue’s lush gardens and tall trees provided a serene backdrop. Inside, Newton Hall’s characterful rooms, quirky decor, and grand feature staircase added a unique charm to the celebration. Their ceremony took place in the aptly named Enchanted Chapel, which offered stunning views of the waterfall just outside. Their little daughter, serving as the flower girl, added an extra layer of sweetness to the occasion.

A standout feature of the day was Daniel’s family’s collection of vintage Ford cars from the 70s and 80s, which made for a fantastic photo backdrop and added a fun, nostalgic vibe to their day. After some heartfelt speeches and a meal, we also hopped in the car and took a short trip to the nearby beach for some stunning photos by the sea. Rhiannon and Daniel were a wonderfully relaxed and warm-hearted couple, and working with them was an absolute pleasure. We loved every moment of our time with them and being part of their special day.
