Rhiannon and Daniel’s wedding at Newton Hall in Northumberland was a beautiful and memorable day. Nestled in a picturesque countryside setting near the Northumberland coast, the venue’s lush gardens and tall trees provided a serene backdrop. Inside, Newton Hall’s characterful rooms, quirky decor, and grand feature staircase added a unique charm to the celebration. Their ceremony took place in the aptly named Enchanted Chapel, which offered stunning views of the waterfall just outside. Their little daughter, serving as the flower girl, added an extra layer of sweetness to the occasion.

A standout feature of the day was Daniel’s family’s collection of vintage Ford cars from the 70s and 80s, which made for a fantastic photo backdrop and added a fun, nostalgic vibe to their day. After some heartfelt speeches and a meal, we also hopped in the car and took a short trip to the nearby beach for some stunning photos by the sea. Rhiannon and Daniel were a wonderfully relaxed and warm-hearted couple, and working with them was an absolute pleasure. We loved every moment of our time with them and being part of their special day.

Hexham Winter Gardens wedding photography - Lizzie and Andrew

Lizzie and Andrew’s wedding at Hexham Winter Gardens was a vibrant and joyful celebration, full of personal touches and creative flair. The venue’s stunning Victorian glasshouse and panelled Hydro Hall provided a unique and charming setting for their big day. Lizzie and Andrew put their own stamp on everything, from the home-grown flowers and crocheted daisy wedding favours (handmade by Lizzie herself) to the garlands of origami stars and table numbers featuring pages from their favourite books. Adding to the personal touch, a close friend of theirs, who is a minister, performed a heartfelt blessing, making the day even more special.

The wedding was a feast for the senses, bursting with color and personality. Andrew’s bold red suit and Lizzie’s vibrant flower crown brought an extra splash of brightness to the already lively atmosphere. It was possibly the most colorful wedding we’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Lizzie and Andrew were such fun to work with—laid back, full of life, and brimming with energy. Their enthusiasm and joy made every moment a delight to capture, and we loved every second of being part of their unforgettable day.

A wedding at Marshall Meadows in the Scottish borders - Poppie and Adam

Poppie and Adam’s wedding at Marshall Meadows Manor was an unforgettable experience. Nestled just a stone’s throw from the Scottish border, the venue offered breathtaking views of the North Sea, making it a stunning backdrop for their special day. Their two adorable daughters served as flower girls, adding a sweet and personal touch to the ceremony. Held in the charming Coach House, the ceremony was filled with love and joy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all their guests.

This was our first time working at Marshall Meadows Manor, and it didn’t disappoint. The wedding breakfast took place in the elegant Lowry Room, where everyone enjoyed delicious food and heartfelt speeches. To cap off the day, we took a walk with Poppie and Adam, hopping across the border to capture some incredible shots on the cliffs of Scotland. The dramatic sea views and rugged landscape made for some truly stunning photos, perfectly reflecting the beauty and adventure of their day.

A church and Shotton Grange wedding - Emma and Simon

Emma and Simon’s wedding was an absolute joy to be part of. They were so easygoing and fun, and made the whole day a pleasure from start to finish. They tied the knot at Christ Church in North Shields where they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with smiles and laughter, and full of those little moments that make weddings special.

After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Shotton Grange in Northumberland for the reception. The venue was gorgeous, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. We got some fantastic shots during the golden hour - the light was just perfect and Emma and Simon looked great against the backdrop of the venue grounds. It was one of those weddings where everything just clicked, and it was a lot of fun to be there capturing it all.
